Cuenca

Created to withstand the cold winters and hot summers of the Spanish plateau, this garden brings together a wide range of resilient, low-water plants. A sequence of blooms from spring to autumn keeps the landscape lively and ever-changing through the seasons.

In front of the house, stepped terraces lead down to an orchard of fruit trees, blending ornamental planting with productivity. The swimming pool is placed in a more secluded area, surrounded by greenery that provides both shade and privacy.

The pavilion, designed by our studio, is a flexible space: it works as a greenhouse in winter and opens fully in summer, becoming part of the garden and extending its use year-round.
