Aravaca

Madrid, Spain, 2025

In this garden in Madrid, a gravel garden extends the tone and character of the house, unfolding among a group of existing stone pines that shape the space and provide shade. The Mediterranean planting gradually transitions into a cooler composition surrounding the lawn at the front of the house, creating a subtle dialogue between dry and lush areas.

The swimming pool, conceived as a central landscape feature, is framed by clipped shrubs that suggest the idea of a pond and ensure year-round visual interest.

Project in collaboration with architects Tuñón and Albornoz.
